Our Staff

Dr. Ally Possi, an advocate of the High Court of Tanzania, holds a lecturer position at the Law School of Tanzania.

He has an LLB from Mzumbe University, LLM from University of Cape Town and graduated his LLD at the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria on December 2014, where he was also a tutor of the LLM Program of Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa. He is an expert in the areas of international law, international institutional law, international adjudication and dispute settlement, as well as human rights law. Specifically, Ally’s research work is on the work of African courts, particularly the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights and the East African Court of Justice.
